Evolution Choir Christmas Spectacular

So here’s the thing.

Salisbury has an incredible choir scene.

I know that sentence might sound a bit odd but it’s 100% accurate.

We have choirs here, there and absolutely everywhere, and they are all awesome. But we’d like to talk to you about the one we saw last night.

The Evolution Choir are the epitome of inclusion.

They inspire everyone they connect with to be the best version of themselves.

Not the greatest singer? Doesn’t matter, because with them you are surrounded with people that want to elevate each other to be the best they can be.

It’s really humbling to watch and listen to.

Lilli Badcock is the conduit for pretty much all the positivity there is in the World. She absolutely channels some serious otherworldly vibes to bring Evolution Choir to life.

Last night was no different.

Those that don’t have a keen eye will have missed Lilli moving from pillar to post, spending time with each area of her choir, exuding her positivity throughout those around her.

Not that they need it.

Everyone involved oozes confidence.

And this is the key element when it comes to Evolution.

Nobody is seen as THE STAR.

Everyone is seen as an essential part of the project. The inclusivity is key to what makes Evolution Choir the success it is.

The embrace that welcomes anyone that joins is wholehearted and truly honest.

Once you step on stage with your fellow Evolutionaries, you are part of an inclusive, much loved group that will always be there for you.

It’s humbling and inspiring in equal measure.

The show was equal measure’s spectacular and emotional. The desire to highlight the plight of Evo member Cat and her need for medical treatment, combined with the belief that entertainment is the best way to battle adversity, is the best explanation of exactly what Evo is.

A family. A bond so strong that someone you only see on a Wednesday evening and at show times can be more than just a fellow singer. You become someone more than song. You are family. A loved one.

And together, this group produces fabulous shows, touching moments and wonderful vibes. You leave having been thoroughly entertained, sung your heart out, danced in the aisles and reminded that of the positivity music can bring.
